Environmental Ethos
We are committed to environmentally responsible practices and small scale farming.
This is our key priority. We work with nature, not against it and hold strong principles about how we grow, process and package our flowers.

Soil Health
Say what you may, the truth of it is that we find soil science fascinating and keep up to speed on the latest research on soil health from the UK and across the world.
One of the many advantages of running a small scale, boutique flower farm is that we can avoid the tractors and practice no-dig gardening at almost every opportunity.
The no-dig approach is a sustainable, low-maintenance method that mimics nature by avoiding soil disturbance, protecting its structure, and fostering soil life. Instead of turning the soil, we apply organic matter—such as compost or manure—directly to the surface, which suppresses weeds, improves moisture retention, and increases yields.
The soil, worms and flowers are much happier for it!
Habitats for Wildlife
We know that wild plants and fungi underpin the health of our environment. They can help us to resolve the climate and ecological challenges which we face.
We also know that protecting them will lead to a world full of colour, beauty and life while allowing the plants and the animals which depend on them to thrive.
It is for these reasons that we take managing the wildlife habitats of the flower plot very seriously. From dead hedges made from prunings, to wild flower meadows - we are on a mission to promote diversty in our eco-sytem both for the planet and our flowers.

Chemical Free
We don't use chemicals at the flower farm. Simple. No pesticides. herbicides or artificial fertilisers.
